Challenge yourself to watch every Marvel movie in order and prove you’re just as powerful as Adam Warlock.

Watching every Marvel movie in order is the best way to experience the MCU. As the superhero cinematic universe continues to grow, those fans not committed enough to watch all 32 (and counting) films might try and convince you you only need to watch the Infinity Stone films or the best Marvel movies, but the purists know that nothing beats the chronological order.

Admittedly, now we’re way past the Infinity Saga with Marvel Studios showing no indication of slowing down, watching every Marvel movie in chronological order isn’t for the faint of heart. But if you can commit to the movie marathon or end all movie marathons, you’ll be rewarded by experiencing one of the richest and most powerful stories in cinematic history. And with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 out now, there’s no better time to start.

Don’t worry, we’ll be here every step of the way to help with our breakdown of every Marvel movie in chronological order (specifically the MCU, so there’s no Mobius or Venom here), but there are spoilers so if you’re new to the MCU, just stick with the list at the top. All you need to do is sit back and relax, tell your friends and family they won’t see or hear from you for the next few weeks, and dive in!

You can watch almost every Marvel movie with one subscription to Disney+, so you just need to find the Spider-Man films and The Incredible Hulk elsewhere (our Marvel streaming guide will help), before you see GOTG3 in the cinema. And if you really can’t bring yourself to give up on the release order, we’ve included all the Marvel movies in release order at the end as well. But we wouldn’t recommend it! Chronological order is king.
