Aamir Khan has already stated that he will not appear in the Indian adaptation of the 2018 Spanish movie Campeones. He will, nevertheless, be the film’s producer. Salman Khan was reportedly approached by the actor for a part in the movie. But the plans with Salman did not materialize and as a result, he appears to have given the project to Ranbir Kapoor.
Ranbir Kapoor exhibited interest in this big project after hearing the narration. If everything goes well, he’ll be playing the lead in the remake of Campeones. The Hindi version of the Spanish movie will be directed by RS Prasanna.
Aamir Khan previously commented on the remake of Campeones being confirmed. The Times of India quoted the actor as saying, “It’s a wonderful script, it’s a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film but I feel I want to take a break.”
Aamir Khan continued, “I want to be with my family, I want to be with my mom and my kids. I feel I have been working for 35 years and I have single-mindedly been focused on my work.”
